Learn core concepts in quant user research to upskill your UX powers in just 3 easy, targeted sessions

Course overview

Learn the highest impact quant concepts via fun survey and analytics examples

**As this is my first time teaching live on Maven, this is a pilot course and thus reduced in price from $800 to $300 per student, for the valuable initial feedback I will get from students. Also, to account for any sub-optimal teaching methods I employ my first time instructing this live on Maven. Please consider taking advantage of this limited offer while it lasts.

You have limited time and resources in the modern era. I believe in making learning visual, fun and as concise as possible. Quant research doesn't have to be mysterious, I have an entire PhD in making hard things easy. I would love to unlock the field and empower you! While we're at it, I'll teach you how to use AI to do a lot of the dirty work for you and when to get extra help to be sure.

I give you the highest impact quant concepts in stats, analytics and sampling theory applied to fun examples. Learn about 1)core, high impact stats concepts, 2)sampling theory for foundational and usability small and large studies, 3)analytics and 4)how to use AI to create real machine learning and regression models and run the stats you've learned! Apply what you've learned to design research for your own products and come to office hours for guidance and further assistance.

Speaking of fun, you'll see cameos of my puppets from my Quant UR Thinkific course, product manager parrot and user researcher rabbit! Watch as they argue about how best to research product market fit for their agentic AI powered bird seed device! All while debating and explaining important user research concepts! You'll get free access to this $150 course as my cohort students, don't worry!

*You can use your learning and development budget at your company to pay for this course! No need to use personal funds if you have one.

What people are saying

"This course [online version on Thinkific] helped me feel more confident in basic stats concepts, not just for user research on surveys but when I speak to data science too. It makes me feel more in the loop with what quant research is and how I can use it to make my own research more precise and impactful. I loved the puppets too, so fun!"

Satyugjit Virk

Hi, I'm Dr. Satyugjit Singh Virk. I hold a PhD in Educational Psychology from Columbia and have worked at big tech companies such as Meta, AWS and Alexa AI and numerous startups. I taught this course before successfully to many user researchers at AWS.

I love taking complex concepts and breaking down so they are easy to understand and visual. I am also a designer, so I present research methods in a way that is very practical and UX oriented. I love puppets and teddies and hope you enjoy the exploits of product manager parrot arguing with his user researcher bunny as they learn core quantitative concepts along with you!
